On February 4th, 2011, Sirius|XM released a completely redesigned website, with a new Adobe Flash based "Listen Online" player.
This major change to the online streaming interface has broken the Sirius|XM Roku channel. I am aware of the issue and am actively trying
to find a way to get it working again. I'm sorry for the inconvenience!
The Sirius|XM Internet Radio channel allows you to listen to your favorite Sirius Internet Radio and XM Radio Online streams on Roku Digital Video Player.
UPDATE: A new version of the channel has been published that should work as normal. Features include:
Due to some current limitations of the Roku DVP, the Sirius|XM channel does require the use of either Orb Caster or TVersity Media Server for converting the internet streams into a format that is compatible with the Roku DVP. No special configuration is required for either application. Simply install one or the other on a computer on your network. If using Orb Caster, you will need your Orb username and password. If using TVersity, you will need the IP address of the computer it's installed on. Both Orb Caster and TVersity Media Server are free to download from their respective websites. You can add the channel via the Roku channel store, or directly via this link: https://owner.roku.com/Account/ChannelCode/?code=SXM You can discuss the channel on the Roku forums here: http://forums.roku.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=31914 RequirementsThe Sirius|XM Internet Radio channel has the following requirements to operate properly:

Frequently Asked Questions
I have TVersity Media Server installed and running, but I don't know what IP address and port to use in the channel configuration.
In most configurations, the default port (41952) should be used. To obtain the IP address:
In Windows 7:
My IP address changes regularly and I have to change it in the Sirius|XM channel every time. Is there any way to avoid this?
Unfortunately, there is no way to automatically detect the TVersity address from the Roku at this time. If your
IP address changes regularly, it is recommended that you try Orb Caster instead of TVersity. Orb Caster does not
require knowing your IP address.
When I enter my Sirius or XM credentials into the configuration, it tells me that they're not valid.
The Sirius|XM Internet Radio channel requires a Sirius Internet Radio or XM Radio Online account. This feature is not included
with Sirius or XM accounts, by default. You can subscribe via the Sirius
or XM website for an additional $2.99/month.
When I try to play a channel, I receive an error that states that the connection has timed out.
This is usually an indication that the server is not running. Check to ensure that Orb Caster or TVersity is started
on your computer.
When I try to play a channel, I receive an error that indicates that stream is invalid or corrupt.
You may receive this error if the channel you're trying to play is not currently part of your subscription.
Not all channels are included in all Sirius|XM subscriptions.
If you are subscribed to the channel, then it's most likely an issue with TVersity Media Server. Open the TVersity
console, switch to the status page, and review the Server Messages section for any errors. If the following errors
are listed, it could be an issue with your sound card (or lack thereof):
If you are still unable to fix the issue, it is recommended that you try Orb Caster instead.
I am an XM subscriber, and I've tried everything above, but streams still error after buffering to 13%.
XM recently changed some things with their authentication. Bizarrely, this issue is often resolved by re-entering your XM credentials
either in all caps or all lowercase. If one doesn't work, try the other.
I'm having trouble getting Orb Caster to work with the Sirius|XM channel. Is there a walkthrough for setup?
Why yes there is... take a look here.
